Hair metal throwbacks Shyne have unleashed the unapologetically retro Song For The Broken Hearted ahead of the release of new album Go Your Own Way.

And the rip-roaring single comes replete with a lyric video bound to raise the spirits of glam/sleaze fans the world over.

Shyne are on a mission to revive the attitude and pomp synonymous with LA’s infamous Sunset Strip.

And there are echoes of genre leaders Ratt, Faster Pussycat, Love/Hate running right through the second single from Go Your Own Way.

West Midlanders Shyne were formed in 2015 by Toni Gale (ex-Surrender and Rezist) and Mark Wilkins (ex-Roulette) after the pair were left lamenting the lack of 80s-style bands making it big.

After an EP and an album, 2017 saw Matt Freeman join Shyyne as bass guitarist and Richie ‘Bev’ Bevan joined the band.

Shyne have supported the likes of LA Guns, Y&T, The Lynch Mob, Love/Hate and Vain.

In 2019 the band signed to WDFD Records and the recording of Go your Own Way was completed in time for a February 2020 release.
