Time flies – and never faster than in the world of metal as evidenced by the fact that Children Of Bodom can already call upon 15 years of fret-melting experience to underpin a new Best Of collection!
Holiday At Lake Bodom (15 Years Of Wasted Youth) will be released on May 21 as a CD/DVD package and features choice cuts from across their career – plus two newly recorded covers.
Tying in with 2012’s 15th anniversary tour, the DVD will feature footage from across the globe plus the previously unseen clip of Shovel Knockout from last year’s critically acclaimed Relentless Reckless Forever.
“15 Years of Wasted Youth is the sound of Children Of Bodom working hard, partying hard, being relentless and stubborn,” said the band’s guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho.
“We went through many brick walls to get to where we are and after seven studio albums, two live albums, non-stop touring, bleeding and breaking a lot of bones, I think we are justified in putting this album out. Let the music speak for itself. You have been warned.”
