With a brand new album of original material slated for 2011 the LA Guns aren’t going away anytime soon.

And the Tracii Guns/Jizzy Pearl fronted version of the famous Sunset Strip sleaze merchants have whetted the appetite for that new record by re-releasing a deluxe edition of their first collaboration – Shrinking Violet.

We caught up with Tracii to find out what makes Axl Rose’s one-time buddy tick – look out for a full interview with the man himself here soon.

On your iPod: I’ve got Turbonegro, some 70s Aerosmith, Hendrix and Zeppelin on there right now. Plus I listen to a lot of Enya – I love that lady’s vice – and some Elton John. I’ve been listening to a lot of the same music since I was seven-years-old.

Small Screen Pleasure: I’m really addicted to 70s gameshows which, I know, is weird! Stuff like Jeopardy is great – it doesn’t take a lot of brain power and it’s easy watching. Other than that I try to watch some of the HBO series like Prison Break and I love watching the Lakers play basketball.

Making A Meal Of It: Lasagne is the best. The cool thing about it is that you can get it anywhere in the world and while it’s very different it’s never bad.

Drivetime: I’ve got a ’57 Chevy 210 two-door Sedan and my wife drives a nippy little Mercedes with GPS and air con. We have an 18-month-old son and it’s a bit better for him. Having kids changes your views on a load of things – this is the first time in my life that I don’t own a motor cycle. Having my son and seeing my good friend Gilby Clarke suffer a serious accident on his bike made me reconsider things.

Ace Place: Pisa in Italy is fantastic. In fact I love the Tuscany region. Parts of Spain are also cool and I love Utrecht in Holland.

Dream Destination: I haven’t been to Morocco and I’ve never been anywhere east of Finland in Europe. I’d love to go into Russia and see China.

Nickname Shame: Trashy old bitch. My name’s Tracy Ulrich so it kinda fitted when I was a kid.
