He’s a man of many, many talents but singer/songwriter/producer Chris Laney could well have achieved a creative peak with new album Only Come Out At Night.

And now the man who counts Europe, Bruce Kulick and Conny Bloom as close friends is on a mission to make sure he doesn’t only come out in his native Sweden.

With permission to rock granted by his bosses at one of Stockholm’s biggest studios Laney has a licence to play live.

And he’s stepping up to the mark with a series of shows in his homeland next month.

But Laney told rushonrock: “I’m desperate to take this record out on the road much further afield than Scandinavia. I’m not interested in making any money from touring right now but I just want someone to give me the opportunity to showcase OCOAN live. “What I need is a promoter in the UK to take a chance on Chris Laney and sort us out one or two dates.

“That’s all we need as a springboard and to prove that this is about a band playing hard rock and not just another studio-based solo project.

“Maybe we can start thinking about touring more extensively after that but for now it’s about getting that chance.

“So if anybody out there is reading this we’d love to play some shows in Britain sometime soon.”

Look out for a full interview with Laney on rushonrock very soon.
