NWOBHM fans are in for a double treat at Hard Rock Hell: Pirates Of Prestatyn after festival chiefs announced the latest big names to bag main stage slots.

Original Iron Maiden singer Paul Di Anno will play a set full to bursting of classic tracks from the Killers and Iron Maiden albums.

And Bruce Dickinson’s successor, the brilliant Blaze Bayley, will rifle through a set featuring tracks from across his celebrated career. A HRH spokeswoman said: “It’s been 30 years now since two iconic albums were released by the early Iron Maiden, namely Killers and the signature album Iron Maiden. Recently we had an idea and approached the original singer, who’s now touring extensively all over North and South America with various projects.

“The result is a UK exclusive with an unbelievable one-off performance and something that may not ever be repeated in this manner again. Courtesy of Metal Aid and HRH, we welcome the return of Paul Di’Anno to the UK shores, who will perform the majority of both albums live and exclusively for the HRH loyal.

“This will be 70 minutes of killer tracks and something we are very happy to be experiencing at HRH IV.

“Another ex Maiden Hero who’s certainly making his mark with his current solo project, will also grace the same stage on the same night.

“Celebrating his recent highly rated album Promise And Terror, we are pleased to announce the arrival of Blaze Bayley, who will also bring in a special concoction of past and present classics, exclusively for all at HRH.”

HRH takes place at Pontin’s Prestatyn from December 3-5 2010. Tickets are on sale now.
