They might be taking a two-week break from gigging but those generous souls from Tyneside’s very own Dirty Rock N Roll have delivered an early Christmas present to rushonrock in the shape of a truly festive cover.

Now those in the know are well aware that Adam and the crew can do a passable impression of almost any music act in the world (we’re still waiting for them to cover Napalm Death) but trying to copy Sir Cliff…come on!

Yet that’s exactly what the terrible trio have gone and done with this jingly jangly version of Mistletoe And Wine. It’s not going to get them that record deal but it could be the only DRnR song your granny will ever give the time of day.

Catch them live at Blyth’s The Quay on December 18 unless you’re on holiday at CenterParcs that week. It’ll be a [Christmas] cracker.
