It’s all done and dusted – rock legends Kiss will play Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on Sunday May 2.
After initially missing the North East off next summer’s Sonic Boom European tour the boys have caved in to phenomenal demand and will headline the region’s biggest music venue.
Tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow via the internet and through telephone bookings. The Arena’s box office opens an hour later. See you there and get ready for a Kiss-tastic 2010 with rushonrock!

Leicester’s finest came took Newcastle by storm with an outstanding live show on the opening night of their tour promoting new album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.

North East rock heroes Fables Last Stand take their game to the next level tonight with a special showcase set in front of 3,000-plus fans at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena.
Roachie, Twiggy and the boys are celebrating cutting the remaining tracks for their forthcoming debut album with a full set prior to Newcastle Eagles’ British Basketball League clash against London Capital.

As one of Britain’s fastest-rising rock bands wrap up their debut headline tour of the UK we pay tribute to the the monster that is the Stone Gods by posting the second part of a cracking interview with the skin tight quartet.
Leaving behind The Darkness and ensuring rock fans finally see the light we’re expecting some awesome festival shows from the band this summer followed by another bigger and better headline tour before the year is out. And maybe a follow up to their brilliant debut album? Who knows.

It’s been officially designated Metallica Day on rushonrock as the thrash beasts roll into Tyneside to play the Metro Radio Arena for the first time in many a long year.
