Lawnmower Deth – legendary rabbit sumo 10/10.

Killswitch Engage – poor sound in places 5/10.

Tyketto – first keyboards of the day and crowd singing along 8/10.

Noodle Bar (are they a band, Ed?) – very tasty 10/10.

Them Crooked Vultures – Dave Grohl back where he belongs behind the skins. Great musicians let down by average songs 7/10.

Bullet For My Valentine – big crowd and kids seem to enjoy them 9/10.

On this evidence the Taste Of Chaos tour can run and run. A capacity crowd, passionate pits, brilliant bands and music to make you head melt. If you missed this you missed out.

Metal fans across the country can look forward to a full-on ear bashing before the end of the year after Killswitch Engage and In Flames revealed they are joining forces to lay waste to six UK venues.

The hard hitting duo team up to headline the 2009 Taste Of Chaos tour in November and December with Newcastle’s Academy bagging one of the hotly anticipated gigs.
