NWOBHM fans are in for a double treat at Hard Rock Hell: Pirates Of Prestatyn after festival chiefs announced the latest big names to bag main stage slots.
Original Iron Maiden singer Paul Di Anno will play a set full to bursting of classic tracks from the Killers and Iron Maiden albums.

Sonisphere may have stolen a march on its rivals in the race to become crowned the summer festival of 2010 – naming Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Alice Cooper among its confirmed acts – but next year’s new kid on the block has hit back in some style.
The Classic Rock conceived High Voltage two-dayer had already named ELP and ZZ Top as co-headliners and now Foreigner, Focus, Black Label Society and Clutch have been added to the bill.

For a long time now rock music has been the glue which binds together me and my two best buddies.
Right from the early days it was a love of all things hard and heavy that drew the three of us closer.

Biff Byford is one of the NWOBHM’s great survivors and the charismatic Saxon frontman is sounding better than ever after completing two UK headline tours in one year!
A regular favourite on the rushonrock pages, the boy from Barnsley checked in to offer his thoughts on the seminal metal movement which burst out of the British Isles in the late 70s.
