Iron maidens Hysterica (seen here demanding a picture with our publicity-shy editor) held the Hard Rock Hell crowd in the palm of their hands in Prestatyn last month for 30 brief but brilliant minutes.
And with debut album Metalwar making waves across the UK and Europe we’re predicting a big year ahead for the foxy five-piece.

And then there was poor Spike. Nursing bruised ribs following a nasty fall in Barcelona, his mic packed up from the start. A minute into this eagerly anticipated set, in front of the biggest crowd of the day to date, disaster was on the cards. But then this is the Quireboys. And this is rock and roll. Hysterica – Stage Two, December 4 2009

And with driving force Bitchie pulling the strings and punching out the riffs, commitment and determination is not a problem. Her band mates are not about to stray off message anytime soon. Read the rest of this entry »
