I would like to say I’ll always remember the day AC/DC rocked Hampden Park for a remarkable version of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.

Or at least for the atypically sultry conditions which provided the perfect backdrop to a hot night of rifftastic tunes. Or even for another cordial meeting with two of the nicest men in rock – The Answer’s Cormac and Paul. Read the rest of this entry »

Awe struck. Thunderstruck.

And finally struck by the sobering thought that this could well be the final time AC/DC play in front of a UK audience. Young Bros In Glasgow Homecoming

acdc-blackiceGlasgow will welcome back two of its most famous sons tonight when Angus and Malcolm Young bring Hampden Park alive (we hope!) on the final date of the Black Ice European Tour.

With a month-long break guaranteed before they crank it up again in the USA later this summer, there can be no excuses for big Brian Johnson and his pals. And with the prospect of lazy days by the pool supping Brown Ale ahead we’re expecting a full-on assault from the greatest rock and roll band on the planet.
