Ginger, lead singer of The Wildhearts, has opened the door to an unlikely reunion with the Quireboys after exclusively revealing to rushonrock he’d love to join his former band’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The Quireboys will mark two decades since the release of their seminal A Bit Of What You Fancy record this December with a headline UK tour – culminating in a Newcastle o2 Academy show on December 20. Awe struck. Thunderstruck.
And finally struck by the sobering thought that this could well be the final time AC/DC play in front of a UK audience. If these are the last days of this mighty old beast as a live phenomenon then the Black Ice tour will leave a legacy of rock performance at its peak. Read the rest of this entry »

Prog rock maestros Porcupine Tree have responded to phenomenal fan demand and inked in four more shows for their winter tour of the UK.
Steven Wilson and co. are due in Leeds, London and Bristol in October but, with interest in fortchoming album The Incident (Roadrunner) reaching fever pitch, the boys will be back in the country in December. Read the rest of this entry »
