Rock’s October fest continues to gather pace this week with more music than you can shake a mic at and we’ve got it all right here. Canadian crew Billy Talent (pictured) kick off their UK headline tour today and we’ve got another rushonrock exclusive interview with a band still on the verge of the big time in Britain.
But our week kicks off with the brilliant Black Stone Cherry – the guys check into Newcastle tonight with Duff McKagan’s Loaded and label mates The Parlour Mob for what might well be the classic rock gig of the year. We’ll be catching up with BSC frontman Chris and Mark from the Mob before the gig and of course you can read the first full review right here.
Tomorrow sees metal mash-up merchants Enter Shikari hit the North East with another o2 Academy gig and then there’s a veritable feast of gigs to take care of your weekend – check out Suicide Silence and DevilDriver at the Academy and Electric Eel Shock at Academy II on Saturday before classic rock legends Magnum hit the same venue the following night.
