NWOTHM bastions The Sword are back in the studio and pounding out the riffs which will eventually underpin their eagerly anticipated third album.
After a long spell on the road opening up for the legendary Metallica, the US stars are finally bowing to fan pressure and crafting their next assault on the rock world.

You might have to wait until May but that’s when dance rock demons Pendulum return to the fray with the new single and album set to maintain their unstoppable upward curve.
With more than one million sales worldwide the crossover act look set to build on 2008’s phenomenal breakthrough throughout 2010.

Out of the ashes of Blood Brothers comes the terrific two-piece Jaguar Love and their mix of glam metal guitars, edgy dance beats and booming vocals is a rock sound waiting to be heard.
Clearly influenced by the their hometown Seattle scene and yet hellbent on breaking new ground, Jaguar Love are Johnny Whitney and Cody Votolato and they release Hologram Jams next month.

The band responsible for rushonrock’s 2008 Album Of The Year, US comeback kings Tesla, continue to set new standards with the release of a brand new live record.
Alive In Europe does what it says on the tin with 15 tracks culled from various venues across the continent. We checked them out twice in 24 hours last summer and the results were outstanding.
Released next month, the Frontiers Records’ follow-up to the phenomenal Forever More should complement the band’s legendary Five Man Acoustical Jam and whet fans’ appetites for the next studio album. Read the rest of this entry »

Reacting to the phenomenal success of last year’s Where The Wild Things Are, our favourite axe slinger is releasing the companion CD in April.
In the year that Slash releases his long awaited solo record old stager Steve Vai is determined the former Gunner doesn’t grab all the glory.
