Veteran US metallers Vicious Rumors have announced two mammoth anniversary tours for 2019.
The Bay Area quintet will be celebrating four decades in the business with a 40th Anniversary North American Road Rage Tour in May and June. They’ll be hitting 38 stages across the US and Canada with support from Voodoo Terror Tribe, Sunlord and Deth Cadences.
European fans will also be glad to know that Vicious Rumors will be marking the 1988 release (albeit a little late) of their power metal classic, Digital Dictator, with a four week jaunt this April.
The 30th Anniversary Digital Dictator European Tour will take in venues across Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as the Full Metal Cruise, a five day boat party which sets sail from Mallorca on April 24.
The band is also currently in pre-production for a new studio album.
Guitarist and founding member Geoff Thorpe said: “It’s been an incredible year of touring! The fan response has been fantastic!
“Were ready to hit the road and make a killer new album! After a crushing 45 dates in the States in 2018 the band returns with a new show from May 4 to June 22nd!”
