Crewe Cut?
rushonrock understands the opening gig of the Quireboys’ 20th anniversary tour has been cancelled due to problems with the venue.
Spike (pictured) and the boys were due to kick off the A Bit Of What You Fancy 2009 tour at Crewe’s famous Limelight Club on December 3 before heading to Belfast and then back to the UK for their Hard Rock Hell appearance on December 6.
And although the gig is still listed on the band’s official website it seems the show is no more.
The remastered version of the band’s debut album is out now on EMI and features all of the original tracks plus rare demos.
