howard leese actionBad Company guitarist Howard Leese has let slip the band are putting together plans for a UK tour this November – following the huge success of their recent run of US shows.

Leese is riding high on the back of stunning solo record Secret Weapon but the former Heart man is so busy touring with old pal Paul Rodgers it looks like he won’t be taking his own music on the road anytime soon. And he said: “I’ve heard rumours we’ll be hitting the UK this autumn. I hope the rumours are true. I’m a real Anglophile and always have been.

“The Bad Company shows were big news in the US and you could see the management and promoters getting together and talking about touring elsewhere. The next leg would start off in the UK as far as I know and November has been mentioned.

“We’re thrilled about it if that’s the case. And I’d imagine there’ll be a gig in the North East somewhere. It means so much to Paul to play in front of his own people. He still has a house in that neck of the woods and will make a big effort to play there.”

Fingers crossed we’ll be seeing Howard and the rest of the Bad Co. crew very soon. And look out for a full interview with the guitarist who transformed Heart into hair metal monsters right here very soon.
