therapy_cover21While we’re still enjoying the touch of The Answer on vinyl it has come to our attention that fellow Irishmen Therapy? have a retro treat of their own in store for fans who grew up salivating over the band’s various forays into our favourite format.

With latest long player Crooked Timber out this month it seems Andy and the boys want to celebrate their first release for Global Music imprint DR2 in style. And the way to do it is by offering fans a 12-inch white vinyl version of the album on March 30.

It might be a week after the album proper hits stores but, hey, we’re prepared to wait another seven days to further enhance our Therapy? collection. In the 1990’s Therapy? released a number of prized coloured vinyl records before they were told by various companies that ‘there wasn’t a market for it anymore’. Well there is and don’t we know it.

As avid music buyers themselves Therapy? said: “We still remember the thrill of buying vinyl, coloured punk singles, metal picture discs, noise bands on splattered vinyl.

“DR2 were prepared to release a vinyl version of  Crooked Timber so we jumped at the chance to give our fans something special to remember too.”

But there’s one final word of advice from frontman Andy Cairns who added: “Just don’t leave your copy in front of a radiator!” Thanks. But we won’t. All formats of Crooked Timber are available to pre-order at Global Music now for delivery on the day of release.
